Olivetta is now clearly our favorite Italian/European restaurant in the city. Last year we celebrated a birthday and last Friday we came back to celebrate a graduation. The food was absolutely delicious (the bone marrow pasta is incredible), the dining room is beautiful and warm, but just like last time the people who work there make all the difference in the world. Patty who greeted us is so wonderfully warm and genuine. She greeted us with a big hug and we felt right at home. Our server Stephen was prompt, polite, professional and personable. The GM was consistently walking around, checking and making sure all guests were taken care of. Thank you for another great evening!!!
OMG, I was happy to score a table thanks to the manager Mimi who graciously welcome us. The Tequila Carrot made by Bianca was the most tasty thing and the Tuna Tartare that Shane recommended was a chef's kiss. Can't wait to be back. If you are looking for an intimate time with your love one, and have an upscale dining experience pls book a table at Olivetta, thank me later!
I came here with some buddies of mine from the undergrad years. My buddy suggested this place, so we came here on a Friday evening. This place has valet parking, which was nice as I did not have to hassle finding a spot along the street. I walked in here, and I was pleased with the ambiance. I joined my buddies, and we ordered drinks while we decided on what to order. I decided to go with my favorite... filet mignon. The waiter gave me an option of two different sauces, of which I chose peppercorn. On the side, I ordered baby sweet potatoes. To drink, I had an espresso martini. The filet mignon was delicious, cooked to perfection, and the peppercorn added a kick of flavor. The baby sweet potatoes were warm, soft, and came with their own sauce that complemented them perfectly. The espresso martini gave me a nice buzz, and also a kick of energy. The waiter was attentive, consistently checking in on us, and making sure we were taken cared of. The staff here was amazing, they exuded an aura of positivity. I was very impressed by this place, and I can see myself coming back here in the foreseeable future. This place is a gem, come give them a try!
Food was good , I had the Creste Di Gallo it was very buttery but tasty. Sourdough bread was delicious perfect crisp and soft center. Other dishes my guest had the Paccheri pasta they enjoyed , the Agnolotti pasta was great. Desert: Tiramisu was a favorite, Chocolate Olive oil cake was moist and sweet just perfect, finally the Brown Sugar Budino was delicious. Ambiance was nice, clean and elegant. Service was a great from the host to the waiter's.
If you're looking for a beautiful cozy vibey spot with unforgettable food, Olivetta is the place to be! My friend wanted to check this place out ever since she saw it on TikTok and I'm so glad we did. Such a cute hidden gem in Weho. The restaurant is gorgeous! Cocktails: Reposado Passionfruit, Tequila Carrot, Mezcal Cucumber, Mezcal Espresso Martini - It's obvious we had a tequila girls night out ;) Starter: Caesar Caesar Salad is a standout, we've all had caesar's before - but this one slaps!! The dressing is SO SO good! And it's huge, piled high with a very good amount of parm. Tossed with their homemade sourdough croutons. STOP! Each bite was a perfect blend of creamy, tangy, crunchy and savory. I'm coming back just for this caesar! lol Main Course: Branzino and Maine Lobster Bucatini Branzino - Chef's kiss to the chef who grilled our branzino to perfection. It was tender, so moist and also huge. Haha, I have to say portions here are pretty decent. It was served with this herb sauce and a grilled lemon. Beautiful example of simplicity at it's finest. Less is more. Let the fish speak for itself. Our server told us the Branzino is by far the best seller and everyone comes for the Branzino and I can see why. The Whole Maine Lobster Bucatini was the star of the show. WHOA!!- Great presentation. Al dente bucatini in a rich lobster tomato garlic sauce, with an entire Maine lobster cut in half presented in this - you guessed it - huge copper serving dish. O-M-G!!! Side Dish: Roasted Eggplant Roasted Eggplant turned out to be an unexpected surprise. The eggplant, had a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was beautifully paired with a tangy pistachio yogurt creamy yum sauce. Sadly we were wayyyyyy too stuffed to even look at dessert but our amazing server told us that the tiramisu is to die for. We can't wait to come back nd make this our neighborhood spot!
Wow. What a neighborhood gem. It's got a fun, cute, vibe. Not too big or loud. I think it was an old house they turned into a restaurant? If not. - that's definitely the vibe. The service is exceptional, our server really took great care of us and was a lot of fun. She was funny, attentive. I believe her name was Adela. The food was fantastic. Sourdough loaf - 2/5. The only dish of the night that was a miss simply because it ate very greasy. Almost felt deep fried? Kale salad - 4/5. Had a nice spice to it. We did it with no soppressata (we don't eat pork), so it felt a little simple. Still tasty though. Shoestring fries - 5/5. Perfect. Salty, crispy, fluffy. This is the platonic ideal of a fantastic French fry. Baked prawns with grilled bread - 4/5. Needed a pinch of salt, maybe a squeeze of lemon for acid, and the grill on the bread was a little too charred for me. Lamb ribs - 5/5. This was the most tender lamb I have very eaten in my life. Blown away. Lamb Radiatore - 5/5. Sauce and pasta were perfect. There is nothing I can do or say to improve this dish. Grilled branzino - 4/5. Just wish the skin was crispy. Aside from that, flavor was great and the flesh was perfectly cooked. Broccolini - 5/5. Perfectly cooked, and again like the kale salad, a hint of spice/heat that was pleasant. Brown sugar budino - 3/5. Ate a little too sweet. I wish they used more of the cocoa nibs and sea salt to balance the dish out - especially since the portion was so large. The salt and nibs were on top and once you ate thru the first layer, there was still a lot of pudding left and it ate to sweet. Almost a perfect meal! So so close, will definitely be back.
Sat at the bar and was thoroughly impressed with Bianka! Her conversation and mix skills were amazing!
It's one of the coziest restaurants in WeHo. Their service is very fast, yummy foods, very friendly and attentive servers. Inside is really lovely and chill vibes. Highly suggest this place for dinner.
A+ for the staff!! Had a small party here and they were very kind and accommodating throughout the event bringing out apps and desserts at a pace we requested. The vegan burgers don't feel vegan at all. The carrot tequila is delicious but I think that's because the 1st sip is so bitter / boozy that your tongue is numbed.
Great place to go for a special occasion. Their DJ plays excellent music. The place has sections with different ambiances but they are all enjoyable. The food is delicious as is the wine. Service is excellent. My friends and I agreed that a tapa would have been very welcome since we were starving but alas the whole experience was great. I had the polent with oyster mushrooms and it was divine! A salad was the only vegan option I saw; this dish is vegetarian.
